A follower of Jesus named Paul said, “I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me- the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”- Acts 20:24. Paul made this idea of God’s grace, the idea that God looked at us as we were and as we are and instead focused on what we could be, and he made it the central theme of his life. We desire for grace to be at the center of who we are as a church; a place where we invite everyone to experience the love and mercy of a God who desires for everyone to become who God created them to be. Because of the grace of God, the love of Jesus, and the work of the Holy Spirit, our lives our transformed and should captivate the people around us and draw others to want to discover this grace for themselves.
